Dupont Circle Village launched its initial membership drive at a public meeting at the Sumner School and Archives on February 24th. Over 80 neighbors joined us for refreshments, presentations by Board members, and break-out discussion groups on six topics:
- Social/cultural activities, exercising, continuing education
- Buddy program (including pairing email/non-email neighbors)
- Health services
- Outreach, marketing, fundraising
- Computer services, web site, electronic newsletter
- Volunteers and service providers.
