Dupont Circle Village

The Dupont Circle Village, in partnership with NOMAD, invites you to “Meet the Coolest Old People on the Planet” through the new 2012 Dupont Circle Village Calendar. This is the second year for the Dupont Circle Village calendar fundraiser, but the first attempt at using the calendar to raise awareness, break myths, and silence stereotypes about what it means to age. The collection of vibrant photographs celebrates Villagers and shows that there is so much more to aging than we had formerly allowed ourselves to imagine. NOMAD’s campaign tells this new tale one photo at a time, offering a series of brilliantly whimsical portraits that entice you to take a closer look. And when you do, you immediately understand that to “Meet the Coolest Old People on the Planet” has a much more important message that is communicated in a subtle tagline that challenges us all to “Keep It Cool” by ensuring that the Village continues to grow and that its members never leave Dupont Circle.  And, when you get to know these Villagers, you quickly learn that they wouldn’t have it any other way.
